Association Tunisienne Awledna (ATA) is a Tunisian non-governmental organization that works to defend the rights of vulnerable people through the fight against all forms of discrimination and institutional violence. It operates in several regions of the country with a particular focus on the rights of children, young people, women, migrants and people with disabilities. The association works through educational programs, awareness-raising initiatives, advocacy and community capacity-building. Some key initiatives include fighting against torture and institutional violence, training on non-violent forms of communication and the prevention of extremism, strengthening economic and social rights, especially the rights of female agricultural workers, and providing leadership training to youth.
