Social Justice Centre

Domaines d'expertise

The Social Justice Center (SJC) is a left-wing, feminist human rights organization that works through an explicitly intersectional and holistic framework to confront political, economic, and cultural forms of oppression in Georgia. Since its founding in 2012, SJC has consistently challenged the structures that reproduce marginalization, inequality, and authoritarian control, while building democratic alternatives rooted in community agency, collective power, and social solidarity. The organization understands human rights and social justice as processes inseparable from people’s lived experiences and recognizes how overlapping systems of exclusion shape everyday life for workers, low-income households, ethnic and religious minorities, IDPs, women, LGBTI people, and other non-dominant groups.
