Areas of Work
Since 1994, Odhikar has been one of the leading human rights organisations in Bangladesh. Odhikar strives to spread awareness for and monitor the abuse of civil and political rights, for which it has trained more than 500 human rights defenders worldwide. The organisation has contributed to the enforcement of transparency and accountability in the government and has allowed for the active participation of people from all sectors of society.
