Based in Salvador and Bahia, Centro de Defesa de Criança e do Adolescente is a non-profit and public organisation formed by social entities and managed by a council of nine non-governmental organisations. The organisation’s mission is to contribute to the protection of children and adolescents in situations such as sexual violence, crimes of homicide, physical violence, and violations of human rights.
