The Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel is an independent human rights organisation and legal centre founded in 1996 that works to promote and defend the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel, as well as other individuals subject to Israeli jurisdiction. Through strategic litigation, international advocacy, legal education, and public outreach, Adalah challenges discriminatory laws and policies, advances equality and access to justice, and protects civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. Its work spans a wide range of issues, including detainees’ rights, freedom of expression, land rights, discrimination, and accountability for human rights violations.
