Areas of Work
ACAT UK was created in 1984 by the British Council of Churches and works for the abolition of torture worldwide by increasing awareness of the Christian obligation for this mission. It works through organizing prayers and writing letters of appeal to governments and others in countries where abuse and torture are practiced.
