Justiça Global

Justiça Global is a human rights organisation that was founded in 1999. It works to protect and promote human rights and strengthen democracy in Brazil through rigorous fact-finding, documentation and reporting, as well as the use of international mechanisms for the protection of human rights. It regularly carries out inspections to prisons and advocate against human rights violations and for the creation of committees and mechanisms to prevent and combat torture in each State of Brazil. It is also committed to the regulation of the use of force and to confronting the use of lethal weapons as tools of torture.
